It takes a village to raise a child, and it takes a village to run a playgroup. The hard working Mothers on the committee need more people to help us keep things running.
Please look at our volunteering opportunities below. If you don’t have the time to do those roles, you can help in other ways, like starting your own playgroup, or letting us know if you have any ideas you want to implement. It could be an exercise class, rhyme time, a fun day, a messy play session. We keep our fees low by relying on members to contribute and your ideas and time would be welcome. Please email us at stkildaplaygroup@gmail.com with any ideas or ways to help.
It’s a great way to meet new parents and playmates as well as boosting your resume.
Also, any volunteer work you do goes towards your free childcare subsidy.
(Time you volunteer for us could be lodged as activity to Centrelink which will increase your CCS %, especially if you are not working.)
All positions are voluntary (not paid).
