St Kilda Playgroup is a Community based not-for-profit, non-facilitated playgroup for children aged 0 to 5 years old. Created back in 2006, the SKPG is run by a committee of volunteer parents and brings together over 300 local families.

We are located at 67 Argyle St, St Kilda VIC 3182 (Betty Day Community Centre).

MEMBERSHIP IS $30 A YEAR

We have the cheapest playgroup membership in Port Phillip. Inclusivity is important to us. We are proud to provide an affordable place for all members of our community to attend.

WE ARE MEMBER LED

Our members create age-based, and language sessions that run for 2 hours, 9am till 5 pm Monday through Friday.

We are not a kinder, and we are non facilitated, so you stay with your child for the entire session, and you can only attend sessions that your child is eligible for.

 

Each session needs a group representative or 'group contact'. They are there to welcome new members and make new friends by running a group WhatsApp chat, as well as reporting any questions or concerns to the committee. Without a group contact, a play session cannot operate so they play a very importable role in our playgroup.

If you wish to create a new session please look at our start a playgroup page. Once you are a member you can start any group you want. It can be for your MCHN New Parent Group, an aged based group, a cultural group, a baby disco! Anything!
