The best way to find out more about St Kilda Playgroup is to attend a playgroup with children of a similar age to your child, introduce yourself to the other parents and children and see if you enjoy the playgroup.
The SKPG Committee has made changes to the timetable in response to COVID-19 and as a result of feedback and statistics regarding how the sessions were previously used. The new timetable is designed to be more inclusive for everyone, and where possible, better accommodate children's sleep schedules.
New parent groups created through the council's Maternal and Child Health program are encouraged to coordinate among members and attend a 'Babies up to 8 months' session.
Booking sessions is compulsory
All parents/carers must book a place in their desired session for themselves and any children aged 12 months and over who are attending, using the free Try Booking app here, or via the linked sessions below. Babies aged less than 12 months are welcome, they just don't need to be included in the CovidSafe headcount, but their parent/carer does.
Booking is required for EVERY session you attend, by following the link on the timetable.
You can only book for the current week, as you need to confirm you and your child/ren are healthy, and we want to ensure fair access to all sessions. This will be revised over time, and the committee will be checking compliance.
We will trial the new timetable until our Annual General Meeting in May, and welcome feedback via email. The new committee that will be elected at the AGM will have access to all the feedback and be able to make any changes it deems necessary.
